The number checker uses the phone number you enter and the default local telephone provider for that area and the default calling plan to determine which of our dial up access numbers are likely to be local calls for you. This is based on the information that telephone providers are required to publish, but recent changes in this published information may not be reflected in our database.

You can reach your local operator by dialing "0". Let the operator know the telephone number that you are dialing from and the number that you are dialing to. The operator will then verify whether or not the number is a toll-charge call for you. It is your sole responsibility to verify local access.
